From ATE Test to Actionable Information- Support

For decades engineers have used STDF as the standard format for ATE test output- data logs, and yieldWerx automatically parses this format. However, with the increase in engineer’s usage of the general data record type (GDF) this usage often results in every product test program’s data log having a unique format from which you need to extract your data.  Our support team can assist your company in this data extraction from STDF generated data logs using GDF record types.

Customized Data Parsing and Integration with yieldWerx

 In addition, our support can create custom data parsers that can read proprietary ATE data formats. The resulting test data then integrates into Core yieldWerx as well, integrating it into the system easily. The test results can be loaded automatically into Core yieldWerx real-time basis or imported manually into Core yieldWerx. 

Automating test data handling is valuable because your product may be assembled and tested at different sites. This could involve different ATEs, each likely generating slightly different data logs. Take the example of a customer (MPS); they used five different OSATs for product XYZ, resulting in a variety of unique test data logs to parse.  The product volume over one quarter represented ~MMM units.  With our support in extracting the data from each OSAT house MPS customer could view all the test results in a unified database found in Core yieldWerx.
