Synopsis:
This module provides bidirectional access between data managed by Core yieldWerx 2.0 and a customer’s external analysis tools and factory/business management systems. It comprehends the formats for SAS, Power BI, JMP, Spotfire, Excel, Tableau, and it can provide customized data views.
Description:
The standard data access module facilitates integrating the yieldWerx Core Package into existing engineering and business capabilities that you use for analysis and management of factory operations. This translates to minimal disruption to existing processes while the core Package increases engineers’ and planners’ productivity. Bi-directional access enables usage of existing analytic scripts for other tools and it enables communication decisions to other modules within the Core Package.
Your staff’s investment into analysis routines build in SAS, JMP, or Excel is not wasted. The module permits access to standard data views (e.g. the ones that feed the production reporting analysis module) In addition, engineers and planners can develop a customized data view that supports existing analysis routines developed for other analytic platforms like Spotfire, SAS, Tableau, SAP and other ERP platforms (enterprise resource planning).
Data can also be pushed from external tools into the Core yieldWerx’s data framework to drive decisions within your supply chain. For example, an analysis in SAP may change the manufacturing test operation priorities in response to market shifts. In another scenario, an external analysis tool communicates the decision to place a lot on hold for further disposition. In this case, this module would connect these results to the MES system to place the lot on hold.
Using this module enables integration within your existing factory and business practices whilst providing the fundamental yield management system components that support your business.
